Who is the person behind Home Sanctuaries?

Why am I a home remodeler when my mom said I could literally be anything I want to be in this world. Well I'll tell ya. I could have been a professional athlete but I thought the travel would be too much and the scouts said I wasn't any good. I could have been a Wall Street Broker wheeling and dealing with bankers but then I remembered I have to be able to sleep at night. I could have been a pro fisherman, a yoga instructor, or a pool boy. Heck, I could have been a cowboy.

But I didn't choose the remodel life, the remodel life chose me.

I worked for Mosby Building Arts and for their Right Bath Division for 6 years when I was offered another a position at a buddy's company. Well, 3 days in to that job, my buddy informed me that he was closing the company because he found a better gig.

I was lost.

​

I have a wife and two kids so I had to do something.

​

I tried going into the social media world and even had a radio show on AM radio. It was fun but it always felt like more of a hobby.

​

After the last couple of years doing remodeling, it has reignited my spark to bring amazing designs into real life.

​

Seeing a space in someone's home, which they worked so hard for, become the thing they had always envisioned in their head is my jam.

​

I pride myself on the details of the job and forming relationships with the people I work with.
